YogaFox 500 Hour Teacher Training Program

Our school is registered with the Yoga Alliance and upon graduation you will be an RYT500 instructor. The school accepts students from the YogaFox 200 hour program or other 200 hour programs registered with Yoga Alliance.  For students from other schools some basic 200 hour classes may be required in order to successfully complete the required practice teaches and assisting.  The 500 hour required courses run annually – some are 18 hour courses and some are 35 hour courses.  There are also elective courses and retreat intensives.   Each student can complete the required courses and hours at his or her own pace.  The minimum enrolled time is usually 24 months.  We are here to help you create a plan that works or you and your schedule.  Your credits always carry forward and you may complete the training at any time over a 10 year period.

Keith Fox developed YogaFox Vinyasa based on his years of study in the Ashtanga and Vinyasa “limb” of the Family Tree of Hatha Yoga. It incorporates many asanas from the first, second, and third series of Ashtanga yoga as well as a variety of other asanas. Kelly Brookbank brings experience from the Kripalu school of yoga which enables the YogaFox Vinyasa school to incorporate advanced pranayama and meditation practices into the studies. This combination of the physical asana along with the meditative practices of yoga allows the YogaFox school to offer a comprehensive yoga experience for all of its participants.
