Genevieve currently manages and teaches at The Buddha Lounge Her classes: Wednesdays 6:30-7:30am, 12 noon-1pm Genevieve first came to yoga for the physical exercise it offered. She had no idea how the practice of yoga would breathe life into every aspect of her being. Having suffered from asthma and scoliosis her whole life, Genevieve was shocked and amazed as yoga transformed her inside and out! Through sculpting her body with asana (physical postures) she strengthened and straightened her spine, alleviating the back pain from scoliosis. With the practice of pranayama (breathing exercises), Genevieve learned to control her breathing, thus releasing her from a lifelong dependence on asthma inhalers Jacqueline currently teaches 7pm on Thursdays at Buddha Lounge and subs at various times. Call for dates for Ally’s next class! Noah is a certified YogaFox instructor and currently teaches Dynamic Vinyasa Flow Buddha Lounge: 7:00-8:15 pm on Tuesdays Student Review: Noah teaches a strong level 2-3 flow, well balanced with an edge toward creative sequencing and strong hands-on adjustments. This is generally a well attended class and you’ll find some advanced practitioners. Don’t expect music or the standard A-B salutations to get you ready for what’s to come. Class opens with good warming strength postures and you’ll quickly become immersed by the breath of students and Noah’s strong yet encouraging instruction. Those looking to get lost in music, or a fast moving release from thought need not apply. You’ll go deep and advance your practice if you listen to Noah and your body, doing what feels right and realizing it’s not a race but a journey with no finish line. Class start in a very casual manner. You’ll get a lot of postures in, some great adjustments, and if you wish a bit of yogic perspective if you venture to talk to him after class. BIO coming soon.
